| It could be the cleaning fluid they produce when they groom - that looks milky. If it appears in his eyes only when he's grooming himself, or right after a bath, and disappears within a minute or so, it's probably that and is nothing to worry about. If it doesn't sound anything like that, there may be something wrong with his eye so a visit to a good cavy vet would be the best plan. If he's not been to teh vet, it would be a good opportunity to take him along for a general health check, and to get to know your vet too. |
