Weird behaviour?

I've switched my pigs over to fleece, and because of this, I now have bricks in the cage. My one pig Sushi, likes to sit with her butt on the fleece and her top half on a brick. I want to know if anyone else is used to seeing their pigs do this? Or if it's something I should be concerned about. She still lays down normally, and she still snuggles up in her towel, but a lot of the time she'll just sit like this, propped up on her brick.
Is this abnormal? Normal? Am I simply over-worrying?

Re: Weird behaviour?

Maybe the brick is kind of warm or something? Or chilly and she was hot? Or maybe she's just comfortable. I really don't think it is anything to worry about.

Re: Weird behaviour?

If I had to guess, I'd say she likes the cool feel of the brick on her face and the warm fleece on her butt. Kinda silly, but not anything to worry about.

Re: Weird behaviour?

Nope, nothing to worry about. Some bricks retain heat too so maybe she was getting the warmth from it if it was retaining heat.

Re: Weird behaviour?

My Tuppy did this too when I put bricks in the cage. I even snapped a pigture of her laying on it:

Re: Weird behaviour?

Well, so long as it's not scary behaviour. I love my guineas, and if it was something to be worried about, off to the vet we would have gone! It looks kinda funny though, she's so fat... *shakes head* But no babies, just fat.

Re: Weird behaviour?

My Maude likes to curl up with her head on/in her food dish -- whatever's comfortable, I guess!
