Feeling very guilty for neglecting my poor piggies.

Both my partner and I have stinking flue like colds right now, so we're both keeping our contact with the boys to a minimum.

My other half hasn't been in contact with them since the weekend - I've been cleaning, feeding and watering at high speed and desperatly trying not to sneeze or cough in their room.

I'm now getting dirty looks and a lot of shouting as they've not had their usual evening cuddle or any floor time since Monday night. They're making me feel very guilty about it.

Don't worry about it. What you're doing is good, despite what they may think. They'll forget all about it when things go back to normal again.

I know. There'll be a mamouth pop-corning session when we're recovered and they can come and roam downstairs with us again. Scatty beasties!!

They're certainly making their feelings know about their present abandonment though!

Oh, I had to go throught that last month! The poor things didn't know WHAT was going on, and they were NOT being happy being kept out of the loop. Every time my hubby took them their veggies, I could practically hear them saying "Where is mommy? She usually brings us our food." But they love hubby too.

Awww, the poor babies! Just tell yourself that they're not neglected, and that you're keeping them safe. I doubt it'll help much, but it's true. And during your convalescence, you can plot all of the wonderful floor-time & lap-time activities you all can do to reunite (((((hugs!!!)))))
