Question Adopted a pig that may be pregnant

Is there a way to tell the age of a piggie? I adopted a piggie from our local Humane Society and she was in a cage with several males. I am a little concerned about the possibility of her being with babies and maybe being "too old" to safely deliver them if she is.

You could post pictures, depending on whether you think she's visually showing enough. Sometimes pigs just look prego, but they're really just fat, which I think is the case with my pig Nutmeg. Hopefully that'll pan out to where she's just a porker.

Not really. You can generally tell if a pig is over a year old if the nails have a "curl" to them.
If she is an adult size in a cage with males at a shelter - (can we assume she came in with them?) there's a good chance she's had babies before.

Her nails DO have curl to them, and I am fairly certain she came in with the males. I can surely find out. Thanks for the reply.
