| Re: Can you understand their Lauguage? I've made a page with recordings and explanations of all the sounds my pigs make and what they mean www.treenspigs.com/fun/media.html . There are some that are quite similar - for example the purring sound is pretty similar to the noise they make when something alarms them. A lot of it is about reading their body language too - whether they look relaxed or are showing any signs of nervousness or distress (like tensing their body, biting down etc). Quite often each pigger will have slight variations on what noises it makes and why, so it's just a case of getting to know them, and what they like! Treen www.treenspigs.com/index.html |

| Re: Can you understand their Lauguage? When my guinea pig purrs it means that she likes it. it is always a good idea to check out web pages with the noises recorded. It is very helpful! Nycol |
