cavy question I have a question for you... My friend is wanting to give me her cavy because she is moving, but it will be my frist. So, she is going to give me him and everything that goes with him( cage, food, ect.) including him. How can I get him to adjust to a diffrent owner(me)??? And when I get him and bring him home and put him in my room and everything should I let him be for a day or two to adjust??? Thank you for your help, Stephanie

Re: Cavy question. just be patient and gental with him and after a while he should trust you. he will be a bit sad to see his other owner go but will pick up when he finds he has a nice new owner to play with him. I think you should hold him for a while first and then leave him be for a day or so. all the beat from Lauren gillanders

Re: Cavy question. Get your pig to a vet right away. Could be a urinary track infection or stones.
