Fighting Piggies

My boars have been vying for dominance for the last month or so (one is a little over a year and one is 9 1/2 months). Last night I came home and heard my quiet, docile piggie chattering like I'd never seen before. And my guys do spend some time chattering at each other when they get annoyed, but never very loud and never like last night. I went to seperate them as I was concerned that they were getting a bit aggressive with each other. My quiet guy tried to bit me! My little crazy man tried to bite me and they were in a big tizzy. I finally got my quiet one out and he curled up in my lap and immediately fell asleep. Poor guy was exhausted from their little escapade I think. Anyway, when he woke up I notice he had a bite on his nose and lip (no major bleeding). I decided I would seperate them for the night and today until I could decide what to do. I currently have a 4x2 C&C cage for them. I had to put one of piggies in the small cage that the uneducated people at the pet store had originally sold me as big enough for guinea pig. I put the small cage at one side of C&C cage while the other piggie was in the rest of the cage. I'm not sure what do now though. Is there a way for me to diffuse the situation? I don't have room for a bigger cage and the thought of confining them to 2x2 sections just kills me. I can do second stories, but I still don't think that would be enough room. Has anyone every stacked cages on top of each other? Say a 4x2 on top of a 4x2? Sorry for the long post. I just want to make sure my piggies are happy and safe and I want to ensure that as quickly as possible.

Thanks,
Lisa
