the "safe" list for fruits & veggies

Okay, I copied & printed a list off about a year ago of foods that were & weren't okay for piggies. I thought I'd gotten it from guinea lynx, but I can't get into their site right now to check.

My list says grapes are not okay, and bell peppers & oranges are fine, but only on occasion. I also have cucumbers on the not-okay list. These are all foods I've seen mentioned differently, just recently. So I guess I'm thinking that I must have an old list... and was wondering if anyone has an updated list??? I'd love to know if we're missing some foods that the boys could be having that they aren't - and if we're giving them anything that we shouldn't be!

I have a list I can email to you if you PM me your email address, or I'd be willing to cut and paste the lists from guinealynx since you said you can't get on there.

Ohhh, thank you sooo much! Just sent you a pm, but if you think it'd help anyone else the cut & paste would be cool too! I just feel so "out of the loop" finding out after 4 years with piggies that they could have been having peppers every day rather than once every other week!

Re: the "safe" list for fruits & veggies

Percy's Mom, can you post it on here? I have a running list myself and would like to compare it with yours. I'm going to mentor new piggie owners when they start adopting out piggies from the WI hoarder. Anyways, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: the "safe" list for fruits & veggies

I originally got the list from RubyPiggie2, and Ly re-proofread it for me when I changed the original format. If anyone wants to PM me their email addresses, I'd be happy to forward it on. That's really much easier, as it would be in a place that you could more easily print it out if you wanted to.
