Smile New Piggie with pigtures

Ok well this is the new piggie that my flat mate got me. He is supposedly 4 weeks old but he is so small. My flat mate said that he came from a litter of 3 males and that they were all the same size. He weighs 250grams. Does this sound correct?? Should he weigh more then that at 4 weeks? Could he be younger then 4 weeks

Ive babyproofed his cage but it's still kinda scary looking after him, Ive never had a piggie this small before. When my sister's piggie had a baby, (this was 10yrs ago) the pup was born the same size that this one is now!

Ive also got him in quarentine as he has lice which I have treated him for. He seems so lonely. If I treat my others boys for lice too can I put them all together so that they can look after him? Or should I just keep them seperate for the time being??

Anyway, here are 2 pigtures of him...He is still without a name at the moment so any suggestions will be appreciated!

He looks black in the pigtures but he is actually dark brown and also has a patch of white on his other side.

adorable! I don't know the answers to any of your questions, but I'm assuming quarentine is for more than just lice.

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

I don't have the slightest idea why, but the name Pecan came to my mind.

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

He's absolutely precious! I would still keep them seperated for now. I am so bad with names though, so I'm afraid I can't help you on that one.

Thanks percy's mum. Yeah I think it is probably best to keep him seperate for now...he's just so lonely by himself.

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

Do you have a small stuffed animal or an old sock you can stuff with hay and tie off that you could put in with him? That would at least give him some"one" to cuddle up with.

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

Cute coloring...and he looks so soft!

How about Cocoa? He's kind of like hot chocolate with a dollap of whipped cream!

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

Kinda going with JiggityJig's idea, how about Dollop? Like the dollop of whipped cream.
Ooh, I really like this one; Liko, it's Hawaiian for bud. Makana would be a great name- it means gift(also hawaiian).

Re: New Piggie with pigtures

I really like Liko too. Damian seems to describe him, sweet and harmless. Dax, is just a cool name. Shae looks really cool as a name. My mom suggests Fluffy . Ooh, or Sirius! Stesha describes him to a 'T' it means crowned one! I like the name Travis, but it's more of a 'human' name.
