one of my pigs trusts me. she always runs up to the fence on her run to see me and she makes me smile.

Where do I start! It's so hard to pinpoint why I love piggies so much. Everything about them from the way they wash themselves to the different breeds is so fascinating and rewarding.

The trust thing is the main reason I like them. I don't trust people easily but I trust animals. However jumpy guinea pigs who don't trust me can make a little bit nervous.. So we always startle eachother and it seems like each day we get one step closer. I love it.

I also love the variety of colours, hair types and breeds. I've seen the cutest little piggies! I love that we can do so much to make their lives happy and that they need so much care (I'm the kind of person who always needs to be taking care of something or someone).

I love the way Malaika chews the whole entire water bottle spout to get water instead of licking it like a hamster would.

THe way she's started to "purr" when I pet her.

That she's taught my cat how to make her noises.. etc

I actually love everything about them. They're each special in their own way. I love it when I go downstairs without saying a word and they'll start to wheek out. Of course, if I don't have food, they get louder until I go back and get some. I love it when Mama gives me kisses. I love holding them and petting them when I'm having a rough day or I'm depressed. They just cheer me up.


I kind of like this saying: When depressed, the next best thing to a pan of brownies is to sit and pet my piggies.

I love their chubbiness. its so cute! And the way they reach for something in your hand.

You know, before I got the girls, I didn't care much about pigs either way. My sister had one way back when we were young, but I never payed much attention, and this awas before we knew the right conditions for the little guys. But now that I have my girls, boy have I change my tune. I love everything about my piggies: Their cute little wheeks when they hear my alarm go off in the morning because they know I'll be out to give them pets and veggies, the way they run when I try to pick them up but cuddle under my chin once I get hold of them... the cute little piggie shape, the ears, the intelegence in their eyes. And I especially love the way Porky and Babe constantly look lioke they need their hair brushed (absynnians).
