Piggies in the past

Since I was talking about one in another thread, I thought I would post a couple of pictures of some piggies I had in the past...

This is Bubbles (above). He was my first guinea pig. He lived for 5 years and was the friendliest little lump of a boar I ever had.

This is Bobby. He was almost 3 when he died of a respiratory infection.

And, of course, Bracken who passed away last month. Many people on here will have followed her story.

It's nice to see their faces again. It's good to remember the piggies that were precious to us.

Re: Piggies in the past

They are beautiful Daft. I can't believe Bracken has been gone a month already. The only contribution I can make is to Choccie, who I bought with Charlie. Choccie kept starting up fighting and relentless chasing with Charlie so I took him back to the pet store, which I now know was not good. The last I heard he was living in a 2 storey hutch with a rabbit. Oh the shame, but I didn't know any better at the time.

Anyway, Charlie is on the left and Choccie on the right. They were both about 3 months old at the time of this pic.

Those pigtures of Bracken make me smile every time I see one of them. She was such a special girl, and still is in all of our memories.

Charlie is just adorable. Hindsight... there are lots of things I would have done differently too, but you live and learn I suppose!

Re: Piggies in the past

They're all cuties.

My very first pig, Paperbag, barely lived two days after I got her and had the vet I was working for check her out. I didn't even have time to take her picture.
