hi everyone im new and i just wanted to tell everyone about my guineas i have 3.baby is 4 years old and is tri-coloured and very sweet. amber is 6 months old and is very cute and quite shy. ollie is ambers sister and is always first to the food bowl! i love them all very much I did have 4 guineas but babys sister lucy died in august i loved her so much she was my lovely little lucy who was very bossy towards the other pigs!

will someone please tell me about their pigs.

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum! I have 4 pigs, two males and two females. The girls are named Temporary and Permanent. Permanent is blind, and I've had her since 2003. Temporary is a little older than Permanent and is quite vocal. I adopted the boys in August. Their names are Pogo and Riley. Riley is super curious, and Pogo is the largest pig I've ever seen. The boys and girls both have 2x4 C&C cages with a ramp and loft area. The boys love to sleep in their loft, but the girls view it as their bathroom. *sigh* Anyway, that's my pigs.

awwwww bless little permanent its a good thing guineas have a good sense of smell or he would have a hard time getting around.

Hey Becky welcome to the forums and cavy cages!

If you need any help at all dont hestitate to ask and i'm sure we will all be glad to help! I have three girls and one boy.

My girls are:

Flopsy, Blackie and Caremal, and my cutie boar is Fluffball because of his rosette on his head and the way his fur goes everywhere. Hes the tamest out of all of them and I love having him on my lap or on the bed as he popcorns.

Carmel and Flopsy are the oldest, and Blackie is my little wheeker. The loudest of all she never is quiet until she has food in her mouth. I love them all so much.

Hi becky, I'm becky too. LOL I don't have a guinea right now but I'm looking...
I use to have a white one named Hobie back in 90. He was the sweetest thing so I hope I get one as sweet this time.

I have 4 piggies.

Charlie-Parsley is a neutered boar. He's a 2 year old brindle Abyssinian. He is my first pig and I got him in July 2003
Tuppence-Poppy is a 1 year old Coronet sow. I think she's a tricolour girl, but I'm not sure. I got her in August 2004.
Lottie-Primrose was adopted from a rescue in June 2005. She is about 2 years old and is a black and tan English.
Jasmine-Peaches was adopted from the same rescue as Lottie. She is a 5 month old English sow, and she arrived in July 2005.

Hi Becky! I have 4 guinea pigs. Peaut who is four years old and I got her from a petstore when she was a baby (I didn't know about adopting then.) Tutu is 1 1/2 years old and I adopted her in may and her and Peanut live together. And I just recently rescued two females from a barn and in a few weeks they will all live together.

This is my very first time raising my piggies so its rather overwhelming! Ive had them now for about 5 1/2 months now, and love them to pieces.

I think it takes alot of hard work, i'm trying to read through everything here and on Gl to provide the best its just hard finding everything they need! Oh well as long as they are happy thats all that counts

I've been looking after pigs for just after 4 years and I haved loved every minute of it
( exept when they are ill) and I hope you enjoy looking after them during the years to come. : )

Welcome to the forum! This is the very best place to find out all there is to know about piggies.
I have 6 GP's. 3 boars. 3 sows.
Legelas, is 2. He is 3 color silkie. He is very submissive and very laid back.
Peppi, is 7 months. He's a dutch broken. He's dark brown and white. He is the boss in the boys cage.
Poncho, is 6 months old. He is also a Dutch broken. He is dark brown and white. He and Peppi look like brothers but came from different towns.
My girls:
Maggie, could be as old as 5. She came from a rescue that found her in the street.
She is a TSW (calico) and is very very sweet.
Teddy, is 3 months old. pure white with a black eye on one side and a black patch on the other eye. She is still skittish but doing better.
Matilda, I just got last week, is a coronet/silke. She is 3 colored and is very beautiful. She is very calm and loves to be held.
All but one have been rescued. Legelas came from 4-H kids, but that was before I knew all about breeding and showing.
My GP's are in C&C cages.
