| Am I missing anything? ~Sigh~ As soon as I get Bacon out of the SPCA, they have another pig listed. I know she(?) isn't getting the best care. They aren't even sure if it's a girl. I can't adopt her, but I plan on at least helping her out a bit. On Sunday my mom and I are going to take some supplies to them. We're taking Oxbow pellets, timothy hay, and some care sheets from guinea lynx. When I'm there I'll sex the little one,at least then she'll have a sex  On the care sheets I wrote down the name of my vet. I'm also going to ask that they call me before her time there is up. If worse comes to worse, I'll take her to the Looking For Love Rescue. | Re: Am I missing anything? OOOooo I want! Send it here! I don't care what sex it is  Looks a bit chubby though. The cage doesn't look too bad.. At least she isn't on wire so stressing a good diet and maybe trying to get them to give the new owners the links to here and guinealynx is about all you can do. I doubt they'd require the owners to get her a friend and a cage that's up to the standards of cavycages. The shelter here doesn't even think guinea pigs should be housed together despite my arguments. |

| Re: Am I missing anything? Ohhh, and she is already house Trained! Very cute pig. It is hard when pigs come up in your area to say enough. I think it is very good of you to help out. |

| Re: Am I missing anything? Patches is absolutely adorable! Someone bring her (I'm voting for girl), and I'll build her her own C&C cage in my room, unless of course she ends up being a he, then I'll put him in with the gang. |

| Re: Am I missing anything? I'm kinda hoping it's a boy, that way there isn't any worry about pregnancy. I think it's weird that Bacon was previously named Patches and the next guinea pig is also named Patches; they are so un-original! I'm wondering what I should do about veggies. Maybe I should buy a few pre-packaged salads for her and tell them to give her some everyday. If you have any ideas on how to adress that issue, let me know. Also, thanks for all the ideas. I'm trying not to look at her picture too much; I might fall in love and want to keep her forever! |
