No grids available in Turkey :(

In Turkey, I searched everywhere including wal-mart like stores but I can not find cube wire grids.
I have tried to buy it from internet via amazon and e-bay but shipping costs are very expensive(70-80 $ !).
Do you know what can I do to get this marvellous stuff ?

You might be able to find closet shelving, which also makes very good cages. It's just harder to remodel a shelving cage, because the pieces are longer and you can't reconfigure them into as many shapes. There are pictures in the photo galleries of alternative cages, and some of them are closet shelving.

Hımm, modification of shelving is a good idea but I think wooden cages are not so hygenic(urine problem) in long term.
Plastic type cages are the best.
Maybe I can do plexiglass cage.Do you know any tutorial about this type cage?
I searched forum but only found pictures of plexi cages.

Yup, had same problem I live in Qatar, in the end I had to pay almost 150bucks for shipping about 24 cubes which cost 21$ what an irony
But! Did you look for bunnies movable grid cages? they are the size of almost 2 grids per grid, i was able to find it in pet shop, but he only had 5 of them.

Closet shelving is not wooden. It's the same stuff grids are made of, just sturdier. This isn't a shelf, but it's a picture of what the materials look like: Extendable XLG Helper Shelf

I don't know where you'd find them there, if you even can. Here, they're sold in home improvement stores.

You cut them with bolt cutters. In the US, if you know what measurements you want, the store will cut them for you.

how do you tie them up together?
Welding, solder them or something else?Zip ties don't seem sturdy in my opinion...

Zip ties are very sturdy, but they do come in different weights. I'd get the thicker ones rather than thinner. They're what hold my closet shelving cage together, and it's huge.
