Sorry you're having such a hard time with it.
What's wrong with it? You can tape it back together if you made a mistake on the cut.

OMG! LOL, you are not the first person to make a mistake with the coroplast. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time, but I'm laughing because you sound just like me. I've been through 2 pieces for my first cage, and I'll end up getting another half sheet for my second cage. I hope I do better with the special order sheets of black I'm getting for the bunnies...Ugh. Now I'm worried.

Keep it you can use the coroplast for other things. Litter boxes, kitchen areas, hay racks, hide outs for the pigs. ect.

Oh do I know how you feel. Coroplast can be tough to cut perfectly (not a good combo for a perfectionist). It takes a lot of practice and baby steps. AND a carpenter square!! You're next one will be much easier, believe me.

Okay. Calm down and see if you can still reuse the sheet you have. You can tape the sheet back together with a clear packing tape. Do you have a picture of your coroplast? See if we can help?

That doesn't look that bad. Looks like it's just too long. You can undo the box, put everything flat and then score the end for a shorter box.

Or, undo all the grids, and add connectors to the grids, that will make the grids walls longer and will be the same length with the coroplast.

Mine had that same problem!! Take one of the shorter sides and score it about an inch down from where you did before. Then fold it up and it should fit better. If not do it to the other side.

I had the same problem, frustrating when you try to get it perfect and it doesn't fit right!

Oh! It looks like it's too long. Take a deep breath, walk away from it for a minute... Untape the whole sheet so it's flat. It looks like you just need to fold it one inch over on one end than the existing fold. So...tape one end so it's as though the cut wasn't there, move over about one inch into the middle away from the original cut (the one you just taped), score it there, fold it up the way you did and re-tape it. You may have to trim a bit off the top. Don't worry about the cuts, the pigs don't care. You actually did way better than I did with my first one.

I won't just take off an inch. To make sure it fits this time, measure how much it extends out, then score it about 1/2 inch extra. For example, if you measure that it extends 2 inches passed your grids, score it at 2.5 inches, just to be safe.

You poor thing! I totally understand your frustration! I am 40 years old and when I brought home our coroplast I just sat there and stared at it. Thank GOD my 21 year old son has mad carpentry skills and he looked at it for a few minutes then broke out his tools and cut it our perfectly for me. He's getting ready to cut me out another one. I am so thankful for him! Good luck!!!

Good luck next time, if you do a next time. Good thing it's not that bad at all. I was a complete perfectionist when I was making mine, I made prototypes to make sure I knew how to do it, I had someone help me, I looked at the instructions every step, I used a real scorer instead of a knife to score, to make sure I didn't cut all the way through... I tried to leave no area for failure. It was a pain but it worked.

It doesn't look bad at all. Tape your sides so they stand up better. You can overlap your grids if the sides are a little too long.

A high-temperature hot glue gun works wonders to secure the ends of the coroplast box, and it can fill in the cracks where you may have cut too deeply and cut through both layers.

Great suggestions. If it still doesn't turn out how you want it, let me know - email me at cccages@aol.com. Do you have any more connectors?
