how long

We hold them and let them run on the floor. But how long is good for my guinea pig.. We do have 4 cats and a 1 dog so they only get to run in a pin that i set up in kids room.. but i never though about them staying out longer then 30 mins a day.. but i hold them every day since im trying to tame them.. get them use to been held.. thank you for your time..

I usually let mine out for an hour each time, after that hour they tend to find a place and lie down. Once I put them back home, they lie down for a nap.

An hour is my average, but sometimes I up it to two since I work in the big room where I have the two piggy playpens. I can work on my laptop and keep a watchful eye on them. If I leave them out long, I give them water bottles or veggies that contain some water to make sure they stay hydrated.
