If you have extra grids, you can use those to buils a base. Check out the photos link at the top of the page.
Your cage is lovely! I really liked your cuddle cup fabric. Maybe you can put a small cat litter box under the hay rack to catch spills. Most pigs pee and poo while eating their hay, so if you put some litter in there, you might not have to change the whole cage as often. (Trying to save your poor fingers from more sewing!)

oh lord yes i have to start on a new cover blankie soon .. but i went to the thrift store and got a bunch of those flece baby blankets ..thinking of cutting them into equal squares and doing like a quilt like thing .. yes i know i must be crazy .. but when u love a piggy what else can you do .. plus my hubby enjoys i am to busy sewing keep me off the internet ...

i was going to use the extra grids and hubby even bend some for me .. but i dont know they just made me nervous when i put it in the cage .. so i took them out ..

oh and the cuddle cup fabric .. hehe is an old fleece scarf i found washed it up cut it up and went to town .. hehe

aww ty but he wont go in it he bites it he pushes it all around the cage and than once in the corner he gose behind it and gose under it .. i dont think he gets the consept of the cosy cuddle cup ...

I currently have my piggies in seperate regular store bought cages, but i have seen alot of setups like yours. Where do you get the grids and supplies to put these together? (It gives you room to make your own larger sized home which i like!) cages can get veryyy priceyy!

oh these are those cubes you use to build a shelf with i guess those cube shelves .. i got mine at walmart .. very nicely priced at 20 bucks got 2 packs than found some at the thrifts store for 6 bucks i was giggling when i spotted the pack at the thrift store.. my hubby thinks i am crazy .. comes with connectors but i got some plastic zip ties at kents { hardware store/home improvement store } also the coroplast for the bottom .. and than the uhal pads went to u hall picked them up around 8 bucks and the fleece well also at the thrift store since i really cant afford to pay by the yard for fleece i took a chance at the thrift store and washed the heck out of them .. hehe you also can look up some stuff in the cages How to Make a C&C Cage
