Can I make a c&c 3 grids wide??

Hi everyone, I just made a c&c buy the coroplast i got only comes in 4ft wide by 8ft long. How can I make a c&c 3x4 or 3x5?? I'd like to do it without taping coroplast because I'm afraid it'll leak trough the corners. Has anything done this?? If so, how? Thanks!

Get two peices of coroplast and just measure to size. Taping the cornors works fine, I've never had problems with it, unless you have no bedding or fleece.

If you make the sides 3 inches tall, you can get a 3x6 cage out of one piece of 4x8 coroplast sheet.

No matter what, I put an extra small hand towel in the corners, under my piggy bedspread or fleece/towel arrangement. Just to be sure to keep leaks from happening. I have mine taped, but a large "pee" will sometimes leak through.

Thanks guys! Right now I have my sidewalls at 8 inches high because I've been using carefresh and my girls can get a little messy! I'm switching to fleece today (washed everything yesterday). Has anyone used 3 inch sidewalls?? How did it work out?

Hello ! Just wanted to say that I recently added on to make my cage a 3 x 3... I added a 1 x 3 section to a 2 x 3 section. I cut the edges straight so that they fit together and I could easily tape them. I taped the inside and outside with packing tape, which sticks well to the coroplast and hopefully that will be enough to stop any leaks !

Alright... Spent a couple hours and made an awesome home (I'm not even callin this a cage ) I'm quite proud. My piggies (all 3) popcorned for over 10 mins straight (I have video to prove it ) By the way that is saying quite a bit because I adopted sweetpea (supposedly 3 mos old but she's huge) over a week and haven't seen her popcorn once. My smaller two have popcorned but not like this! It's now a 3x5 with a 3x1 loft. Also out first time using fleece with uhaul pads. Thanks for everyones help!!! I'd upload a pic buy idk how!!
