Combining a store bought cage with a C&C cage?
I have two 2 month old male piggies. We currently have them in a 40" L X 18" W store bought cage. I know they need a wider cage for sure, however I'd hate to just get rid of the store bought cage. Do any of you have any ideas for combining a store bought cage with a C&C cage? A few weeks ago I was looking on here and I saw one cavy lover had combined their store bought cage to C&C cage. I liked the idea but wanted to see if anyone else had done this and had any ideas/pics they would be willing to share? Thanks for any help!

This is a good sample. I don't know how well it works though, since it's not my cage.

You can take a look in the photo gallery for things people did to combine the store-bought cages and their C&C cages. I seem to recall there were at least a few there.

Thanks lissie and CavyMama, I'm using those photos as a general idea for the cage, and I went and looked for a few more ideas. I'm going to start working on the cage over the holiday, hopefully it'll come out well!

Re: Combining a store bought cage with a C&C cage?
I attached my store bought cage to my C&C cage, but instead of just putting a bridge in the doorway of the store bought one, I unattached the whole front of it (it's super easy, and I'm pretty sure all of them come apart) and zip tied that part of it to the top. Although I still have the bridge for my 2 piggies to use, they love just jumping over the edge. I don't understand it, but it's funny to watch. Plus it's much easier to clean that way. Just giving another idea
