    Cork in a cage?

    Hi everyone,

I recently put a second level on my C&C cage. I made a ramp out of cork thinking that it is water resistant, soft on their feet and would provide traction. However, now I'm wondering if it was a good idea. I can't find any information about the safety of cork in a cage. Does anyone know if it's an issue if my piggies chew on it?

    Thanks

I would imagine it wouldn't be good for them to chew on it. Can you cover it? I know it kind of defeats the purpose but I would be worried about it breaking apart and eating it or them chewing it.

We think that is not healthy if they eat. Try something different.
