My piggies need more exercise! help!

My piggies need more exercise! help!
    Hello there..hehe. Anywhoo...
In June, I went on a 3 week vacation and left my grandma in charge of my piggies. I had pre-bagged their veggies for 2 weeks and then a list for the amount to give the last week when she were to cut them herself. So you know, every few days I would call her and see how they were doing and she would reply "Fine." And then I come home...
    DUN DUN DUN!
Only to find my pigs very plump. She said she fed them what i had written on the list but you know grandmothers. Always thinking your hungry and giving you too much. *sigh*
So why I'm here is because they need to lose weight. I already give them plenty of floor time. More then I used to. And I've been doing that thing with the lettuce and carrots where you out it on a piece of string or kabob or something similar. And then they are forced to reach for it. But they seem to devour that in like 2 minutes so I dont really think that is helping them lose their plumpness.

So can someone PLEASE give me some more ideas to help them lose weight?
Ive been thinking of making them do laps with the temptation of a tomato...hmm...

Encourage floortime exercise by setting up play things for them like tunnels to run through, etc. Also stop giving them sugary treats like carrots and fruits for a while.

Avoid giving them excessive treats/sugary fruits and veggies. Also give them exercise by making little piggy obstacle courses with tunnels, mazes and other fun things. I know what you mean! My Aunt watched them for a while and they were also overfed a lot of veggies! And when I came back the were chubby pigs! I reduced treats A LOT, I only gave them 1 treat a week, if at all, gave them floor time every day for an hour or more, and put a lot more tunnels and other things things they could run through, now they have lost most of the flab, and are back to their fit piggy selves! Also keep control of their pellets, only give each pig 1/8 a scoop a day. Still give them unlimited hay as usual, it doesn't make them fat, it helps them digest. Encourage them to run around and play, especially during floor time, and don't give them carrots, they are sugary. But that kabob idea (hanging the veggies) is good, hang some lettuce on a string or kritter kabob so that they get exercise, also hang your hay in a hay rack, so that they also have to work for it. Good luck with getting your pigs in shape!

Do you weigh your piggies? What did they weigh before and after the visit with Grandma? Just curious.

You can get inexpensive one from Ikea.
IKEA | Mixing & measuring tools | Measuring tools | INFO | Scale

I prefer the digital one to the other one though. This is the one I use.
Amazon.com: New Multifunctional 11lb, 5kg Digital Postal, Kitchen, Food Weight…
