Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I've had a loft/bunkbed area set up for about a week now. It's ziptied half way up a grid. I also put a fiddlesticks bridge leading up to it in case they don't/can't jump up there on their own. Well, not only do they not jump up there, they won't even use the bridge. The only time they've been on the bunk is when I've picked them each up and set them there, and they hastily jumped down. Do some pigs just not like being off the ground or will it just take time? I'm going to be adding on a second level and worried that they won't use the ramp either. |

I also built a loft and had a hard time getting them to go on the top. I tried the fiddlestick bridge, which did not work. I had these pillows I had made and I put them in front of the bunk bed and they would go onto the pillow and walk right onto the top bunk part. |

Pigs are not climbers or jumpers by nature. I would make a new ramp with a surface with a good grip and sides (and possibly a top) so they feel more secure. You can put veggies on it to encourage them to go up. |
