Just curious to hear from the other members here who have multi-level and large cages for their cavy's as to how long it takes you to do the whole cage cleaning (I have fleece, 3 stories)!! It takes me almost an hour I would say to do the whole thing, not including washing/drying time! Taking all their "things" out and cleaning the litter boxes, putting down two layers of fresh towels, and then fleece, and I have to binder clip my fleece to the backsplash of coro I have, as hubby didn't do my coro uniform and through several "remodels" it's sorta taped together in places , so I guess that takes more time for me. |

I don't have a multi level yet but it takes me a good 30-40 minutes to clean out a 3x4. That includes washing down the coroplast, putting down fresh towels and fleece and filling up on pellets, hay and water. It takes longer if my kids want to help. |

It takes me about 30 minutes to do a 3x3 and a 3x4 with a loft, but that's when I'm hauling booty to get it done. |

About 20 min, not counting the time in the washing machine for the fleece and towels. |

It takes us about 40 minutes or so to do the weekly "cage change" for our fleece lined 2x5. I really want to add a loft, but Im worried it would complicate cleaning!! |

Same as above poster 40 min. for my 2 x 5. The girls get floor time and I do a full cleaning. I have hesitated to add an upper layer as I just about have time to do the 2 x 5. The girls get plenty of floor time and don't really like to climb so I think I will leave "as is" for now. |

It only takes me 5-8 mintues cleaning. My pigs are going free range until I get the stuff to make a C&C cage. |

It takes me around two hours to get everything done. I mean, full cage cleaning. Change the towels, change the kitchen, sweep poops around and in the cage, sweep off and shake off hay, wipe down of everything (kitchen area, bowls, hidey, both sides of the shower curtain, etc.) with a 50/50 vinegar solution, and all that jazz. I kind of got the hang of it so it cut down to about 1 hr 15 min.-1 1/2 hr. |
