coroplast for 3x6

Hi everyone, well my piggys will be here saturday. I have my coroplast and am ready to make the box but my grids wont be here till tomorow. I think ive worked it out correctly -could you guys just tell me if this is correct?

Ive come up with 96 x 52 1/2 for the inside of a 3x6 cage. Is this right? Ive added 12".

Thanks

Re: coroplast for 3x6

I got 96" by 54". That is assuming that the grids are 14" and you want a 6" coroplast wall on all sides.

Re: coroplast for 3x6

According to the How to Make page:
53" x 39" for a 2 x 3 grid cage
96" x 39" for a 2 x 6 grid cage

So for your side with 3 grids, you would want 53" and the side with 6 grids would be 96"

Re: coroplast for 3x6

theres a few gaps round the corners but im going to clip the fleece to the sides of the grids so it shouldnt be a problem. if anything ill have to stuff the gaps with something.

Re: coroplast for 3x6

You could just make your flaps 5 3/4" versus the 6"
No one will ever notice.
What do you mean by gaps? If you can post a picture, we may be able to help you out to fill in the gaps

Re: coroplast for 3x6

Ill set the cage up and post pics tomorow - then you can tell me what you think - the gaps are mainly in the corners between the coroplast and the grids.

Re: coroplast for 3x6

A regular 6" wall is 96" by 42". Add 12" on whatever side you want higher. You'd need 2 pieces of 4x8 foot coroplast or a really, really big piece.
