Question Bridges to cross over Coro

So I had a 2x4 C&C that I built for my boys Bacon & Butterfinger. Now I have adopted Simon & Schuster, who have an equally large cage.

So now, I want to put the two together, and include a 2x2 kitchen to help reduce the mess from the hay and what not. (My kitty litter boxes just aren't cutting it) So here's the plan.... Take Bacon & Butter finger's cage and put it along the west wall of the critter room, then add the 2x2 kitchen on the North end of that cage. Then, off the East side of the kitchen, add Simon & Schuster's cage, so that it ends up in a L shape. I should have my PiggyBedSpreads in tomorrow, so I will only need to get a smallish piece of coroplast to create the kitchen area.

My biggest issue... how to get them from one area to another. I'm thinking of building bridges with grids, but how in the world would I do that.... They only need to get up and over the 6" wall of the coroplast... It may even be cheaper to just order some large fiddlesticks... Anyone have any suggestions on this aspect?

Fiddlesticks would probably work.

Re: Bridges to cross over Coro

You could put two bricks on either side of the coro, as steps...Or you could just zip-tie a grid on either side and have it like a bridge with a little hidey under both sides and put some coro and towel for safty and traction...or you could go to Home Depot and look for something about 8 or so inches wide and strudy and they will cut it for you for free (just get the right dimensions) and place one on either side. Thats what I did for my ramp to the second floor and it only cost me about $3.

Yeah!! But you might have to bribe them over it at first with some veggies just in case if they don't know what to do with the bricks! Haha! But yeah, and a nail trimmer.
