I agree that sandpaper is definitely not the best choice, but if that is all she has at the moment then I think it is ok. The dust from sandpaper comes from what ever you are sanding, like wood or painted metal. The dust is just those particles that are being removed (saw dust/wood or paint). |

One thing I like to use as grips are those non-slip things they sell for dishes and silverware trays. You can usually find them by the dishes or in the kitchen section and then cut those apart. |
