    Cage safety?

I have my 9x9 grids on order from BB&Beyond so yes, I am making a nice C&C cage for daily use.

I have bought a very large cage to house my pets when I travel to my daughter's house once a month. It's the biggest one I could find, 4 ft. long. The "bars" are spaced 3/4". I know I will have to baby proof if I should get babies, but what about an adult pig. What is the max. the bars can be spaced? If this cage is not safe I will keep it baby proofed. It was an expensive one and labeled for guinea pigs.

3/4 of an inch is fine.
