Ok I finally got Poppys cage built and ya'll will not believe how much my materials cost.I paid $20.00 for 68 grids with there connectors.I took a chance and called my local flea market and asked if she had any cubes and wouldnt you know it she did how lucky for me because now I had enough to make a stand for the cage and still have alot left over.If I would have bought them brand new I would have only got like 14 per box and would have had to pay $14.99 plus tax.As far as the coroplast goes my husband has a buddy who owns a sign shop and we got an orange sheet for $12.23 thats tax incluced !!! Needless to say I am so happy for my Poppy to finally have his new home and I think he likes it too because ALL day he has been making this quiet squeeking sound

A quick question about that I know they should be in different rooms but how long should they stay apart like a month or so and when they meet what is the best way to go about that ?

Three weeks, ideally. Wash your hands and change your shirt between handling the pigs.

Ok thanx will do when I find me a new gp. Well how about I found a fleece blanket at my local grocery store for $3.00 !

This is awesome! You are really lucky to have gotten such a great deal on grids! We are needing to buy some more soon to extend (hopefully) our 2x5 to a 2x6. : )

Oh, about fleece!
Rite Aid and CVS are selling fleece throws (big enough for a 2x3) for anywhere from $1 to $6! Also, Wal-Mart has these fleece blankets that are sized for a twin bed (or a 2x5 cage) for $10!

My joanns here in the TN mountains is having the same sale. I bought three sets of "Boyish" fleece for $25.

Being the only girl in the house, the birds, fish, cavies, and hubby and son are all boys, it was incredibly hard to not bring home pink and princesses, especially at those prices.
