Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I'm getting a cavy this weekend. I'm going to build a nice, comfy C&C cage for them, when I was wondering: Does the Coroplast get dirty? For example, do cavy "waste" get on it so you have to clean/change it? |

Yes the coroplast can get dirty and needs to be wiped down everytime you clean the cage. It doesn't need to be changed as it's a durable plastic and wipes down pretty easily with a 50/50 vinegar/water solution. For tough spots you can use straight vinegar. You have to use some type of bedding with the coroplast. Whether it be safe types of shavings, fleece w/underbedding or recycled paper products. |
