Ok I made a c&c cage and just made the transfer today. The problem is though, the kitchen is upstairs but I cant get them to go up the ramp. I put them up there they ate for a bit and eventually warmed up to the ramp and came down. How do I get them to come down??? |

When I introduced a ramp to my first pair I lined the ramp with veggies and hay every day and put a big pile of hay at the top. It took several days for one of them to make it up there all the way and another week or so for them to start using it comfortably. In the meantime, you should move their food downstairs so they can have free access to it. |

My first cage setup I had a ramp and both girls refused to use it. With my new cage I lined the ramp with a rubber mat shelf liner, made the ramp less steep and covered it with fleece so they felt protected. Now they all run the ramp without fear. |
