If you call a sign store they should be willing to sell you some. I know Sign-a-rama (a national chain) sells it, but some give it to you for cheap and others try to rip you off (one wanted $36 the other wanted $90!!!) I find the best way to do it is to go through the yellow pages and call all the stores (mom and pop shops tend to be the most fair) ask them if they have it, say its for a GP cage so they don't think you are buying it and making your own sign (making them lose business) and they tend to give it to yo for about $15. If you still can't get any, you can make an alternative C&C. Some people use shower curtains, others use linoleum. check out the alternative cages picture gallery to get some ideas. |

Coroplast can also be called corrugated plastic sheets. I found mind through a 'mom and pop' sign supply store (it was in the phone book under 'sign supplies'). If you can't find any I've heard of people using linoleum and shower curtains on top of a cut piece of wood. |

also when you call sign shops ask if they have any damaged ones that they would be willing to give you. Mine had a small hole alog the edge and they gave me the stuff for free! |

Wherever you find your coroplast please make sure that you get something that is safe for your piggies----even this stuff can be bad. I bought mine from a Fast Signs store in my area and when I told the guy at the counter that I wanted something with a color to it he insisted that coroplast doesn't come that way. I knew better of course, but he tried telling me that the only way that coroplast gets its color is because it gets surface sprayed with paint before it's bought!!! Anyone can tell you that something like this can be deadly toxic to piggies and even something as simple as a cleaning solution can spell trouble. I had to settle on white coroplast but I don't mind; at least I know I'm not poisoning my guys with something that's meant to be good. |

I found my coroplast at fleet farm. It does have many names and those employes are not so bright teens who really dont give a plop. At fleet farm its called plastic board or sheet. Its $7 for a 4foot square piece! Its an amazing price since sign stores in the area charge like $30 for a 3x4. Good luck and dont be afraid to shop around! |
