Placing pigs in storage bin?

Hi guys im new to this site,

I've a friend who placed the pigs in the storage bin. Is that suitable? I've read the cage section and they don't place the pig in the bin nor tanks

Re: Placing pigs in storage bin?

Storage bins are not proper cages for cavies. They aren't large enough.

Re: Placing pigs in storage bin?

Neither a bin nor a tank is ok for a guinea pig under any circumstances. Neither enclosure has enough air circulation or room.

Storage bins are not large enough for a Guinea Pig.
