You can get a 2x5 with 6-10" sides out of a sheet of coroplast with just a small amount left over. Or you can get a 3x4 with 3" sides if you use fleece. I don't think anyone can get a 3x6 out of a sheet with 6" sides. |

I don't want to get off subject but since this for a cage that I'm building in the next month or less, what brand is the best brand at Walmart or Target? |

Bed, Bath & Beyond, or Walmart. Target can have the bad ones. You'd be lucky to find a good box through them. |

the set has 16 or 17 grids. for an uncovered 2x5 (with a grid bottom not just around) you need 24 grids for 2x6 you need 28 grids |

I'm trying to think......Would Goodwill have cubes? Because I believe one time they had a set......I'm adding the total cost together....I already have a plan drawn up but I do have a question: Q: Should I wait to put Carly and Sandy into the new cage before getting a third because if I don't find a third for another week, then they might barber the third Guinea Pig. I'm worried about that. So.........The only problem is that Craigslist usually has double Guinea Pigs for sale and I can't get 2 Guinea Pigs....and my local humane society doesn't have Guinea Pigs very often...hmmm........Ah ha! I wonder.....Because there's a shelter that has Guinea Pigs but its a 3 hour drive, I wonder if there's a way to meet them halfway...hmm, I'll have to think about it. But still: Should I wait to put Carly and Sandy into the new cage before getting a third because I'm worried about barbering? A:................... |

4x8 is big enough to make a 2x5, I just did it a week ago. Mine cost twenty bucks, so 11.95 plus tax is good. |

Yeah, I think you are right Barb1222, at least for females I think you could get away with maybe 5, for males I wouldn't put more than 4. I'm not very good at figuring it out when it isn't 2x something. |

I found out that the cage that Sue sells on Ebay has 12 grid sides. Mine would be the same size and such because I don't see getting a new Guinea Pig for a while. But anyway, I found out that I can get grids for like 12.99 at Bed, Bath & Beyond |
