Which ones are the best?

I got a water bottle from wal-mart about 5 weeks ago when I got Ella. (actually I got it about 30 mins before Ella, but anyway) It worked ok for a couple of weeks, but now every time she runs past the water bottle, it drips and leaks. I am afraid that it will leak on her and make her sick. I really do need a new one though. I have some questions:
1) what is the best water bottle (in your experiance) and why?
2) how often should I refill the water bottle?

Are you filling the bottles all the way up to create a really good vaccuum seal?

Are they Hartz brand?

You should change water everyday.

I use bottles from Wal-Mart but they aren't the Hartz brand, it's a different brand manufactured here in Arkansas. I've tried a few types of bottles and many of them leaked after a while but these are some of the best ones I've come across.

It is just the genaric wal mart brand. It was the only kind they had.

The Water Buddy water bottles are excellent and available online. They are a bit more expensive, but instead of a ball and vacuum system, they have a little pin that the pigs push to get water (they learn this easily). They are flat so they lie against the cage nicely, they can be refilled from the top, they have a large opening so they are easy to clean, and they don't leak at all.

Superpet makes a "flat-bac" that has a ball and spring system with a removable rubber gasket in the seal, and that worked for a while until the "mounting" thingie broke. Now we use the type with the valve system that akstrohm described. The only problem I have with these, is that my boys are just messy drinkers!
