Talking Drum Role Please!

I am here to anounce the Project "GuineaPigHotelMakeover". ^.^ I have official been drafted to move into a massive two room type bedroom that my grandfather use to have. Thank Your Turkey! :Blows kisses to her gramps, and hopes he doesn't go nuts over animals now being moved into his old room:

My idea is that I will fit Three 2-4's one on top of the other into the chossen area at first to see how that goes. And once i get more squares, I am aiming to make Two 2-4 with lofts for the elgible guineas Jazz, and Jigg. Butt!! Early who can't use ramps will ether be tested once more for a ramp, or made his cage 2-4 with a little L styled peice.

Now this is all ideas as of yet...I still have to get MY stuff into the room, and figure out where i'm fitting things etc. ^.^ BUTTT i am so excited to update my guineas tight fitting 2-3's. Poor jazz lost her mother, so she deserves something, while Early is geting his cage custom to his liking. XD Picky guinea pig on the loose.

SO! with all this grand news, and blue printing. I need everyones help on a NAME for the junction. I figured Guinea pig hotel should be renamed as They moving to a new area.

Any suggestions?!?!?!?!

BlessedBe,
Asria

ps- This will be the new posting for the new cage as the weeks come by. yes i say weeks. I might be in by next week, or i might still be waiting.

Question Re: Drum Role Please!

Update-

Because I am an update type of person, I will be updateing this at each step of my new cage process. You guys may ignore it, but it is purely just to show everyone that just because they live in a typicaly pretty badly built cage now with not a lot of light etc, doesn't mean I was not trying to domybest

Anyway! I went to cosco the other day, and i ended up picking up a thing of 30 cubes- Eight mesh for 20 bucks. Was that a decent offereing? They have a small pack of the haft ones for nine bucks, but i needed a lot to replace some of my bent grids.

Now i have a question. The cage is going to be next a tv. Would sound hurt the guinea pigs or radiation or anything from the tv?

Love yall!

Update- I pulled out autum rush dvd, and sat down in my new room to start on my cage. I ended up completing atleast one 2x4 but i still have to move the tv over and see if it fits. By what i see...:sigh: It's not going to fit. BUT i will figure out some way how to put make the cages.

The area. Tv's not moved.

First attempt with a bottom.

One cage almost complete. I didn't know they turned out that big!

Re: Drum Role Please!

Well first off I can solve your TV problem just send it to me! Don't know about the sound level or radiation. The cage is looking good so far though.

Talking Well that Was Quick

Hey all,

Soo. Yesterday after eating crabs with the family, My mother was like " Cara go get your bed and bring it down into your new room. We can get the boys to move the tv while their here. "

I love life...I had plenty of room for the type of cage I wanted, and everyone seems to love it. After we moved the tv, and my brother was working on updating my computer, I pulled out the cage i had made, and just started building with Earlies issues in mind, Jiggies love for ramps, and Jazz;s shyness.

^.^ I now have a FULL 2 x 3, and Two 2 x 4's compaired to the less than 1 and a haft grid wide x 3 cages they where in. I took one guinea pig at a time and tested them out on each cage to see who likes what. Early with his permanent head tilt, and height issues has the middle 2 x 4, Jiggy ended up first in the top, but than i switched him to the ramps and he became more active instantly, And than Jazz who hide when she was in the bottom 2 x 3, but when placed on the top, She walked around, and checked things out. Now everyone is happy, and even talk more than just begging for food.

This is the cage before I put the last 2 x 4 top cage up. You can see how the bottom cage is tucked into the other cage.

You can see the door for the bottom cage, and The Ramp.

Top Cage decor with jazz's stuff.

Early's 2 x 4. He likes things simple.

Top loft for Jiggy

BB
