Upper Deck?

Finally, I am in the progress of making a C&C cage! All I have to do if buy the coroplast. I am making a 2x4 cage. Should I have an 1x2 upper deck, or nothing at all? Pros, cons, etc. will help. Thank you!

Re: Upper Deck?

Depends on how much room you want your piggies to have. I have 3 levels myself for 2 boys. Check out the photo section to get idea's for cages you will love them.

Re: Upper Deck?

I have done that, but I read somewhere that it takes up space rather than giving them more room. So any opinions on what I should do?

Re: Upper Deck?

It depends on how you have your ramp made.

If the bottom is at least a 2 by 4 C&C, a loft is fine. Esp. if you have boars.

Re: Upper Deck?

I am going to have a 2x4 bottom. I plan on getting another sow to pair with Butterscotch. So I think I am going to make one. Thanks.
