Question Corn Cob?

this might not be in the right place but can GP have corn cob as a bedding? I saw it at the store, and I also had read it in a book that hamsters can have corn cob as a bedding but you can't always trust books.

Re: Corn Cob?

Absolutely not. There are many safe beddings out there but corn cob bedding is not one of them even for hamsters.

Re: Corn Cob?

Okay I am glad I didn't buy it, cause my mom wanted me to.

Re: Corn Cob?

I think I read somewhere that small animals tend to try to eat it, which in turn makes them bloat and all sorts of things. I think I've only used it for bird bedding.
