Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

Well, I know you can use a 50/50 vineger and water solution to spray and clean the coroplast, but I have used that to clean glass before and I CANNOT stand the smell of vineger! I start sneezing, and I just hate it! Are any of these good?

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

I've used Nature's Miracle for years but not for my piggs, although it's a great product for cat and dog errors. There is a marvelous soap that is made from seed bearing, green leaf plants that is safe and low odor. It cuts urine odor STAT. You can find it at Solutions-4-You.com. It is pricey but is also extremely concentrated and a mild solution works wonders. I don't worry about any of my pets being around it and it is also not tested on animals.

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

Yeah, we used to use Nature's miracle for our dog and loved it. Thanks, I'll check it out if it's pricey I don't know if my folks will buy it....

Edit-Can you post a link to it? I checked out the website and I'm not exactly sure which is the one you use.

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

The cage clean-up looks good but I have never tried it. I put 1/2 cup of bleach in a 5 gallon tub (old disinfectant tub) and fill the rest with warm water, wix well and let it cool then put some in a spray bottle and use that then I use 1 cup lemon juice (over powers the smell of the vinegar ), 1 cup of vinegar and a few cups of water and wipe down everything to get off the bleach and as an extra germ killer.

PS. I am the same about the vinegar smell!

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

Okay, thanks! That will save me from having to buy cage cleaner, we have lemon juice all the time, and I like the smell of lemons.

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

Well if its not to late couldn't you make the vinger(sp?)/water solution more like 75% water and 25% vinigar Just a suggestion.

Re: Cage cleanup wipes/spray?

No, I'm just going to use 1 cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of vinegar and 2 cups of water so I don't have to smell the vinegar. Lemon juice is quite cheap, and we always have it so I'm going to use it.
