Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hi I was trying to make my floor for my cage and am making a 12 inch back wall it says you need to add 18 inches to the length and width of your original measurement...is that right? and if so do i only measure and cut 12 inches from the back or is it from length and width or is it 12 inches and 6 every where else. I know it isnt that complicated but I am having brain freeze issue right now. Any help from other more experienced members would be appreciated. |

Whatever the width of your base is going to be plus 18 inches, I think. So if you are going to have a base that's 27" wide, you'll add 12 inches for the back and 6 inches for the front, so you'll end up with a piece that's 45" wide and you'll score it 6 inches in (for the front) then 12 inches from the other side (for the back). Do the same for the length for whatever your desired height is. Hope that makes sense and good luck to you. I had the most horrible time with coroplast in the beginning, so I very much understand your struggle! |

Hi Ok yes I think that makes sense now...one question though am I adding 18 inches all around or just the side I need to be higher and then the rest is all 12 inches? Thanks to all who responded |

You'll only be adding 18 inches to the side you want to have a 12" and a 6" side on. The other sides, that will have the regular 6" - add just 12" to those. |
