3 level cage

ok I have my 3 level cage built for 2 piggies now how do I get them to explore the other 2 levels? I am thinking of cutting the tubes in half and putting them together for support and use them as ramps.

Re: 3 level cage

I have seen some use vinyl gutter for ramps with something for good footing inside. I always kind of liked that idea. You can use one long piece so they would be sturdier than if they were pieced. You can get the fancy corners if you what to make a turn. I've also seen habitrails in a larger size used.

Re: 3 level cage

Impressive cage. Can you clarify the dimensions of each level? Is each level
1 x 4?

The bottom and top level are 2 x 4 and the center level is a huge "C" shape with the 2 sides being 2 squares deep and a single row in the back allowing me to be able to get into the bottom section. I also have a door on both sides of the second level and a double door on the front of the 3rd level. I used black drain piping cut in half and wired together for strength for the ramps. So far Harry loves the ramps and has explored all levels but Murry who lived in a store bought cage his first year (NOT with me) has only stayed on the first level and just recently went up the little ramp to the loft.
