Transporting Coroplast...

I'm trying to figure out how I am going to transport a 8x4 piece of coroplast in my car... I was wondering, how did all of you transport yours? Does it roll easily? I was told that I could roll it, but it would leave a crease. Would that affect my cage if I had a crease in it?

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

If you roll it up it won't crease, only if you fold it. I had to transport it in a car too. Just tie or tape it up, it will unroll itself.

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

I was told not to roll it - so I just kind of bent it (not hard enough to make a crease) and that worked.

I roll coroplast all the time, it's never creased.

I just posted this in another link. It shows you how to roll the coroplast.

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

I'd been assuming it was stiff, and getting quite frustrated because, while the guy at the sign shop will deliver, I'm never home when he calls, and don't get home until after the shop closes (on the days he's been available). Days that I'm home all afternoon, he's not available... So I'll roll mine up, throw it in my trunk, and I'll be ready to go, since I just got an email from WalMart telling me my grids have arrived :-D

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

Paperlady, it is stiff, so maybe foldind it and taping it so that it doesn't "spring" open would work. I did roll mine and it did crease. If this happens, you can put the crease on the outside, although it hasn't affected the effectiveness of mine.

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

[FONT=Georgia]We folded our (same size as yours) coroplast in half and folded the backseats down. It has a crease in the middle, but since I use fleece, it doesn't matter a bit.

I read on here you could roll it, but the guy that sold it to us laughed at us and said, "Uh, no, you can't roll it." From the other responses, he was ignorant, I see.

Good luck!

Re: Transporting Coroplast...

I mentioned that I was going to roll it, and the guy brought it out, and we tried. didn't work, but he was able to bring it by that afternoon, so the girls are in their new large home and loving it.
