where do you get cage parts

If you have any sign shops in your area you can call them to see if they have coroplast, if you can't find any coroplast you can use something solid like plywood and put either a tarp or a plastic shower curtain on top of that. You can use bedding, or fleece and either towels, mattress pads, or puppy pads or a combonation of some or all of the above. For grids you can get them at target, $15.00 for a box with 24 grids in it and I can't remember how many connnectors, you can also use zip ties, which I have heard make the cage sturdier and also you can fold it up when need be, you can find them at Lowes or Home Depot.

The price of coroplast depends on your area. It can be as much as $50.00 for a 4'x8' sheet (which is the size you want). Just look in your phone book and start calling. Okay, if you just get one box of grids I'm sure you can make a 2x3 or 2x4 (2x4 is the bare minimum for 2 cavy's which is what you should get, 2 piggys, if you get a boar you need to make it bigger) cage and a stand, and for that you would only need one sheet of coroplast, plus the toys and bowls and water bottles, and all that good stuff and the bedding or fleece. So it really depends on what you get and where you get it.

Try to "phone shop" your local sign stores. When I called one they acted like I was insane and didn't understand what I wanted. One store in my area was great though, I got my 4X8 coroplast sheet for $14. If you tell them what you plan on using the coroplast for they may cut it for free, the store I settled on has had other guinea pig costumers and made a free cut for me.

Coroplast can be hard to get home, so measure your car first to see the maximum dimensions you can fit in.

If you tell them you want it for a guinea pig cage then they might lower the price, it depends. More than likely furryfotografia isn't near where you live, you just need to find a local sign shop and find the cheapest price.

Me too Im trying to find a sign shop that will sell coroplast for $14 I hope fastsigns in the metairie area will sell it to me for that price incase anyone lives around that area me and knows about the sign shops in metairie, La. please let me know-thank you
