Question How Thick Should It Be???

I have found many places to buy coroplast.

But now I have another question?

I have seen some as little as 2mm, (which I am positive is too thin), 4mm, 6mm, 10mm and I think even 12mm.

If I do buy it, I do not want it to be too thin that it will make the cage flimsy, but not so thick that it will make the cage harder to handle.

What size do you use?

Thank you for reading.

Re: How Thick Should It Be???

I can't find a measuring tool at the moment, but I am guessing it is between 2/4 mm. Any thicker and it would be impossible to work with! Mine is very thin, and it is not flimsy at all!

I'd say mine is 4mm. If you get thinner coroplast it might be very difficult to score it without accidentally going all the way through.

Re: How Thick Should It Be???

4mm is what most people have. Its easier to work with the tinner ones. 4mm is what most normal cardboard is. But not the cardboard used for like cereal boxes and shoe boxes but it's the stuff used for moving boxes.
