A ramp for my cage I have made a homemade ramp for my guinea pigs. My guinea pigs do not go up it. Does it take some time for the guinea pigs to get used to the new ramp? The ramp has been up for a day now and the guinea pigs have not even gone near it. What should I do?

Re: A ramp for my cage Yes it takes time. Just keep putting them on the top if there food is on the bottom. Make a trail of veggies down the ramp. They will figure it out.

Re: A ramp for my cage How steep is your ramp? If it is too steep they might not want to climb up it. Also make sure that it is safe so that they cannot fall off of it.

Re: A ramp for my cage The ramp isn't too steep, because if I put Scrammbles(one of my guinea pigs) half-way up the ramp, she will climb up the rest. The guinea pigs just will not do it on their own.
