? about cage size I have not been successful in putting my 2 boars together and have accepted the fact that they have to be kept separately. My cage is 5 X 2.5 and is divided the long way to make 2 areas 2.5 X 2.5 with an upper loft section for litter boxes and hay. Is this going to be okay for them to live in permanently?

Re: ? about cage size Is there any way that you could make it larger. It is below the reccomened minimum for one pig of a 2x3, though it is better than a petstore cage.

Re: ? about cage size 2.5 x 2.5 = 6.25, which is above the minimum 2 x 3 = 6. The square footage depends on the cubes you are using, but it is probably an increase of 1 sq. foot. The cage is fine for them unless they are huge boars. See my guinea pigs live

Re: ? about cage size Thanks for the reply. I was making it so much harder than it is to figure this out. My math skills are rusty.

Re: ? about cage size 2.5 x 2.5 are good dimensions. However, if the poster thought about a 1 x 7 cage, I would not recommend it because it is too narrow even though it exceeds the minimum square footage requirements. See my guinea pigs live
