Cleaning bricks ?

How do you clean the bricks used to hold down your fleece? I am going to be reintroducing 2 boars tomorrow and need to get the smell out of them.

Re: Cleaning bricks ?

I spray mine with water and vinigar and scrub them then set them somewhere to dry and normally it gets any smell off.

Me too. I scrub them with vinegar and water and then set them out somewhere to dry. If they have a really stron smell, you can probably just soak them in vinegar and water for a while.

Re: Cleaning bricks ?

That is what I was thinking of using. I love that vinegar works so well, is not harmful to the pigs and its so cheap !!

Re: Cleaning bricks ?

I put the smaller ones in the dishwasher. The large one I have to spray and scrub or soak in the bathtub.

Yes, just not as often. In the summer they spend lots of time on the brick to keep cool and in the winter, they stay in their pigloos more.
