yea and i would be VERY happy to find out if shes perfectly healthy. however, he might tell me she's a little overweight. she's a BIGGUN.

i dont think shes HUUUUGE, but she's just in general a very big guinea pig. She's very long. I've seen some as big if not bigger than her, but when I got her I had NO idea she'd get THAT big. but i love her being big. I can let her roam around the floor without worrying she's gonna scurry underneath things.

She's lazy. She doesn't even like to hide in things! I bought her one of those ferret tubes (also for guinea pigs) that are expandable for them to run in and out of, she's like terrified of it. But it's good exercise so I've been trying to get her used to it.

shes sooo interesting. Haha. she even nibbled on the boyfriends nipple once when I jokingly told her to.

she also knows her name

and shes not afraid of my dogs (well, my moms dogs...shes the only pet I have at my apartment) but when I take her to my moms house, the dogs lick her like a baby kitten and she just kinda chews on their fur and doesnt care. hah

Re: Question about cages...

White nails are much easier to cut than black nails because you can see the quick. That is where the nerve endings are.

Are you able to see the quick? As long as you dont cut that you AND your pig will be happy campers!

Re: Question about cages...

The way I secure my fleece is as follows.

1) PVC pip frame. (this is the upstairs 2X2)

2) Use the little connectors

3) Lay down fleece and put frame on top. Fold sides.

4) Flip over and secure fleece with packing tape (works great for me)

5) Put in cage!

Having the fleece secured makes vaccuming really easy.

Re: Question about cages...

You need to put something UNDER the fleece to absorb the urine as the fleece wicks its away. I use bath towels.
