| Re: Help with cage? It will take about 2 sheets of coro, depending on the height of your walls. I have a 3x12 and it took 2 sheets w/ a good overlap in the middle and 2.5 inch sides. |

| Re: Help with cage? I just bought more coroplast for my new cages. I paid $10 per 4x8 sheet. Based on your design, you will have enough width for 3 inch walls. My cube panels are 14 inch wide and I used cable/zip ties instead of the connectors. 3x14=42 and the sheet is 48. Again, assuming your panels are 14 inch, your cage length will be 140 (plus add in for the walls 3 inch on each end). A whole sheet is only 96 so you will have to use 2 sheets. Assemble your panels FIRST and measure the inside dimensions. And then measure again to make sure. Pencil it all onto your coroplast BEFORE you do any cutting. I had a calculation wrong for my first one and ended up having to "patch" it to make it fit. I really didn't like the piecemeal look but I had to make due with what I had. Now I am redesigning and I sketched it all out on paper and wrote my measurements and made sure they added up to the length/width. It also gave me the opportunity to make sure I arranged the pieces to get the most effective use out of my sheet with the least amount of left overs. Hope this helps. |
