| Cube Cage clips can be used to secure doors and other loose parts of a cube cage, without the hassle of removing panels or cutting zipties. This tutorial will show you how to build one out of Knex, a popular constrution toy: The materials: 2 blue rods, 3rd smallest 2 blue circly-rings 4 grey single-opening connectors http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2104.jpg 1. Take the two rods and 2 of the grey things. Snap a grey thing to a blue hting. Do this twice: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2106.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2106.jpg You shoul dhave this then: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2107.jpg Now put them toghether. This one has no snapping, it should go smooth: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2108.jpg You hsould now have this (ignore the stray arrow): http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2109.jpg Now turn it, and get a blue ring thing. Up it on one of the ends: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2110.jpg Then slide it down http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2112.jpg Now, on that same side, snap a grey thing to it, next to the blue thing. Then slide it down: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2113.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2114.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2115.jpg Slide another blue ring, then snap another grey thing http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2116.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2117.jpg NOw you are done! Here is the finished display http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2118.jpg The permanent attachmen to one cube should be in the TINY little hole, right above the left blue ring http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2118.jpg The part that will go on and off goes above the other blue ring: To close, jut slide the rod without anythign on it to the right: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2118.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/IMG_2121.jpg |

| Re: How to make a cage clip Very detailed instructions! I can't quite picture how it is used, though - do you have a picture of the clip in use on a cage? |
