Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I have doors on my cages as my pigs free range by day, so this way they can come and go from the cages as they please. I removed two sets of connectors from the long side of the cage, and fixed the 'hinged' side with cable ties. The other side is fixed with a foldback clip (one used for paper). It can easily be opened and securely closed whenever you want. Then in the middle of the hinged grid, I made two cuts down in the correx to make the flap to pull down so the pigs can walk in and out. The correx is held in the 'closed' position by a folder spine which slides across so there are are no edges flapping around inviting nibbling! I put a towel over the door flap when it's in the 'down' position to collect stray pieces of bedding. Works well for me! |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Cool setup, Treen. I did the same thing when I had a cage on the floor. The pigs LOVED it. Ultimately had to move the cage and they just weren't as happy. Sigh. Do add those photos to the gallery if they aren't there already. You might also consider putting your location (UK or something) on your profile. Would help explain the subtle difference in terminology. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 On the features/ accessories section of the gallery it says it includes doors, but there isn't a section for it. Are you adding one or shall I pop them elsewhere? I think I put I was from England in my profile, I will go and check! |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I forgot. I took the location out of the user display on the vertical format. I need to add it back in. I also added a Doors section for you! |
